Shooting the Never Say Die Tour

I contacted a few people months before this gig to try and maximise my chances of shooting this show, however all four of these fell through. Disheartened but committed, I still took my camera equipment to the show. On the train journey there, I received a message from the drummer of Casey, asking if I could film him a drum cam. This meant I could get an AAA pass allowing me to shoot anywhere in the venue. I was so fucking excited I oratorically ran from the station to SWX. I was shooting 7 bands I had never shoot before with my Sony A7III. Speaking of, I had with me my; Sony A7III, 55mm F1.8, Canon 80D, 10mm-18mm F3.5, 70mm-200mm F4, Chinnon film camera, 50mm F1.8. This is pretty much all my gear, its the same setup I ran at Reading Festival, and until I get a wide angle Sony lens, the 80D will stay in my gear for the wide, wide, wide shots.

I shot the entire evening over 8 SD cards, with most of the space being dedicated to the 4K video files of the three songs Max requested I film. From time to time, in the pit I took some B role film, with no intention of creating a video from this show, I still did. Its good, not compared to other, proper videographer, but for me, its good. I will post this video, the one I created for Casey, and the best images I took below.

The whole evening was amazing, I took some of my best work, met heroes of mine and made contacts that will help me in years to come.
